Hey guys just started getting into peptides about 2 days ago when I stayed up till 5am scouring the forum. I’m 21 years old bw 263 Lbs, I started considering Reta when I heard my friend was taking it. I kind of made fun of him saying his bones will be dust in 2 years flat but I only really had any knowledge of peptides through instagram engagement posts.
I’m starting Reta because I’m frustrated with my weight gain. I’ve been fat all my life but 2 years ago I crash dieted to 195 lbs and got a girlfriend. The second I got a gf I figured I could kinda chill with the diet and went back to my old eating habits. before I knew it I was back to like 210 and I kept telling myself I’d lock back in next week but it never really happened.
I’d start diets on and off but I’ve been struggling with binge eating at night once I get my appetite back after eating dinner. I believe I nuked my metabolism by starving myself only eating one meal for like a year and a half. I’m at a point now where the number on the scale doesn’t really go down unless I do a really intense diet with no snacks and only 1500-1800 cals a day while making sure to hit 1000 active cals burned on my Apple Watch everyday.
I recently went from 160 to 153 with this in a couple weeks but I cut my hand open on a glass table a month ago and had to sit out of my construction job in which I burn about 75% of cals doing for about a month. I lost my discipline and started binge eating again and a month later I’m back at 263. This is honestly one of my lowest points. I haven’t been this disheartened in a while. I told myself I’d never be back at this weight again and I completely failed myself.
I’m hoping Reta will get me back on track I refuse to stay this way every aspect of life is harder when you’re fat. I’m eyeing mots-c and glow too but I’ve yet to do research yet. I believe peptides are the future and I wanna get into them before the general public finds out and skyrockets the prices.
Nice to meet all of you and I’m excited to be part of this community for years to come
