Hi everybody, time for an introduction. I'm 35 and possibly the worst millennial going — not exactly Internet savvy. lol I kept hearing this forum mentioned and assumed it was a Reddit board, so I kept hunting, and eventually someone in STG dropped the link and here I am
In 2018 I donated a kidney and inside a year I had put on close to 100 pounds and picked up a pile of autoimmune-like conditions, nerve problems (several doctors suspected m.s. but the scans showed no white matter) , psoriasis across my scalp and face, rheumatoid arthritis, extreme fatigue, all sorts. I ended up with a fibromyalgia diagnosis… which felt like a blanket they could throw over me rather than admit they don't know what's wrong with me….
I fought it and could not shift the weight. I was counting calories, hitting my steps and doing a physical job, and it took years before I got off 40lbs. Then my dad had a ruptured brain aneurysm and I became his full time care taker, went very sedentary, and put 20 pounds back on.
So I went back to calorie counting (1200) plus the gym and lost those 20lbs, then I started reading up on Peptides. I'm into my 3rd week and down 6 pounds already. I'm here to be part of a community as I go through this journey and learn and grow alongside all of you.
