Hey everyone. I've dealt with extra weight since I was a kid, though I've stayed pretty active and generally eaten well — just too much of it, I guess. I've been using compounded tirz since January 26, and it's worked really well for me. I'm a 48 year old guy, started at 295 and I'm now at 255, taking 7.5 compounded tirz each week. I got really interested in peptides and what's going on in that world beyond what I'd come across on Reddit. About 3 weeks ago I began the Wolverine bpc/tb500, and I've seen some progress from that as well. I'm getting nearer to my goals, but I'm a competitive, driven person, and getting fit feels great — I want more of it. I've been training in the gym consistently for 6 years, but I wasn't getting leaner in terms of results until I started the Tirzepatide. At this point I just want a flat stomach and for the gains I make in the gym to be more visible. I've picked up a lot just from lurking, and I'm excited to be able to share my own experience too.

Greetings from Savannah! This is a really lovely place. I had the exact same pattern — every day I'd take in 500 calories beyond what I needed, regardless of how carefully I logged my meals or how clean those meals were. My body simply insisted on that extra 500 calories on most days. If nothing changed, that would pile up across the years.

Tirzepatide ended up being the thing that shut that down, or at least gave me a real shot at it. Once I was within 10 lbs of my goal weight, I brought all my numbers down so I could eat properly, keep my energy up, and put most of my attention on the gym and being active. I'm still on the lower dose after years.

Best of luck!
