Heya! I’m a woman in my early 30s dealing with PCOS and insulin resistance. Mounjaro was what I got prescribed at first, but my insurance cut me off once my bmi dropped below 40. For about the past year I’ve been using sema from a compounding pharmacy, though I’m pretty tired of paying so much for what seems like nothing in return. A friend of mine—kind of a peptide expert, I suppose—introduced me to the Grey side and said this place was a fantastic resource. So here I am, eager to soak up everything about GLPs in particular, and also curious about whatever else these peptides are capable of!

Welcome aboard — this is absolutely the right spot for you.

Plenty of folks on here followed almost the same route: Mounjaro, then insurance pulled the plug, then compounded sema, then hitting a wall over what it costs versus what it delivers. So you'll fit right in. Toss PCOS and insulin resistance into the mix and there's an extra dimension, and GLPs can pack serious punch for that — though how you dose, which compound you pick, and what you expect all carry far more weight than the average doctor or pharmacy bothers to spell out.

The grey side might come across as daunting when you first poke around, but this forum is a dependable place to figure out how things genuinely operate out in the real world, beyond the sales pitches. No rush — work your way through the GLP threads, and feel free to speak up whenever something's unclear; the majority of people here truly do want to help.

You haven't shown up too late, you're not trailing anyone, and you're not losing your mind for sensing that compounded sema wasn't delivering what it ought to. Good to have you here.

I'm new as well! Female, in my 30s too—sure would be nice to have a peptide expert in my circle, but that's exactly why I joined 🙂 Haven't tried anything so far, just hoping to pick up knowledge! It's encouraging to spot so many people in a similar situation🙂 best of luck!

Welcome, I got here following in someone else's footsteps too - they told me this forum would be a great place to learn, and so far it has been. Hope you find the info you are after on the peptides that interest you. Have a great weekend!
