Hi everyone,

J is what I go by, I am 42 ( i think, ADHD brain) and the skinny fat club has had me on its books for a few years now. Height wise I'm 5'7", and the scales currently say 158 lbs, maybe a touch more.

Hiking used to be my thing before disability arrived — that's what living in AZ does to you — along with yoga, the odd weights session, and a great deal of coffee mug to my mouth. My relationship with food was always a healthy one, eat everything in moderation being the idea, right up until the binging started recently. Eating so healthy was my norm until surgical menopause forced HRT on me. Now sweets and fast food are going in at an insane rate- stuff I never cared for in the past. Why I crave crap now when I never did, I don't know.

Then came 23 abdominal surgeries, HRT, bedrest and junk, and 20 lbs of new weight has arrived, entirely on my tummy (why never my butt? that would be far better). The fat on my tummy has a mind of its own and reason is not something it hears. Neither is my mind, for that matter.

GLP1s were my doctor's suggestion. Off came 20 lbs, and the general verdict was that I was dying lol. Pretty "thin" is what I am, so looking sickly was the price of the extra loss BUT feeling my best was also true. Sema was my starting point, then compound sema, then compoud tirz then apperantly gray market tirz. Beautifully, everything worked, right up until this last batch - the gray maket Tirz has achieved nothing. More weight has gone on instead.

A bad shopping addiction is something I have, although CHATGPT says I do not, and my ADHD is bad too. GLPs turned out to stop me being crazy/manic, calming not only the food chatter but the shopping and the ADHD symptoms as well. The average person, it turns out, isn't carrying a voice that insists on apple and cheese at midnight, repeating itself until you give in!

reddit is where I went to ask about my tirz bottle looking funny, and someone kindly informed me I'd been given gray market product and sent me here. So here I am. Chronic pain and the pain meds I take have slowed my brain, which makes reading and learning new things like treading through mud. Slow and painful. Quiet observation is my default until I am confident. So my apologies in advance.

Learning is why I'm here — not letting my ADHD brain take over, and making wiser decisions instead. The wisdom you guys have is something I'm looking forward to.
