Hi everyone, from what I understand the first step here is to introduce myself, so hopefully this is the correct spot. My name is Mike, I'm in my early 20's, and I recently finished college and started working in sales in the US. Back in high school I carried a lot of extra weight, and a few years back I succeeded in losing 30 pounds, but since then things have stalled and I only bounce around by about 5 pound. I stay quite active, doing a lot of hiking when the weather is warm and usually lifting 3-4 days a week. The real problem, obviously, is what I eat. GLP medications seem to be on everyone's lips, and I was told this is the ideal community to connect with others and hear their experiences with them. My hope is simply to gain a better understanding of the science behind them, learn from what people have gone through, and maybe give one a try at some point.

Hey Mike! Weight was something I dealt with too back in high school, and I managed to drop it. Now I’m curious about certain GLP1s in case I decide to go lower or need support keeping it off long term. Were you also considering giving these a try? (Sema, Tirz, Reta, etc.)

Hi Mike, welcome aboard. A 5lbs swing doesn't strike me as a problem, personally. You're already doing well by having a lifting routine plus hiking — don't stop. Pinning has left me feeling tired at times, and the same could happen to you, though lifting should preserve muscle as you cut. During my own research, protein intake was one area I found surprisingly little about. Keep an eye on that as you start eating more.

Any particular peptide you're considering?

I hope none of this comes across as out of line — I'm not entirely new and just want to help where I can.

As of right now, Reta is the sole option I’m considering giving a try.
Great pick! Tirz worked well for me too, and so did this one.

Things got to where taste didn't drive my meals anymore — I was arranging what I ate around nutrition, because my intake was so small and I wanted to be sure I was covering what I believed my body required.

Best of luck, and judging by what I've come across in this community, it seems like we've landed in the right spot! 👍
