Hey Rand, welcome! These days I'm microdosing tirze, having reached my goal weight over the course of 7 months. There wasn't a lot for me to shed, but I'm considering a switch to reta so I can take advantage of what it offers. When I quit tirzepetide abruptly, the food noise returned worse than ever!Rand810 said:
Hey everyone! You can call me Rand (any Wheel of Time readers in the house?). So, right now I'm using tirzepatide, and I joined to browse around and explore peptides.
That's good to know—I'll remember itSJrocket said:

The Blade Itself is sitting on my shelf, so I’ll get to it eventually! I should branch out more into science fiction. Got any suggestions?birdwhacker said:
The Wheel of Time seems like a big undertaking to me, and the quality varies too much. Right now I'm rereading First Law! Realm of the Elderlings is what I'll dive into for my next fantasy series.
Are you into science fiction?
From what I gather, tirzepetide is extremely powerful for appetite control. Because it doesn't have glucagon activity, a number of people combine it with retatrutide and get good outcomes. The idea is that reta could make your metabolism burn another 200-300 calories per day while also boosting what tirz is already doing.
Wherever you are in your journey, this might be something to think about. I'd be interested in adding tirzepetide much later on; if I were on tirzepetide first, I'd be interested in adding reta. Just something to consider![]()
Peter Watts is my all-time favourite science fiction writer. Blindsight, The Freeze Frame Revolution and Starfish all hold up. Shame he can't turn out a sequel worth a damn lol.Rand810 said:

From what I’ve gathered, Reta works for some folks and not others—could micro dosing be worth trying?

Reta's doing exactly what I need! Appetite stays in check. I'm down 7lbs since the start. That said, my dosing is on the aggressive side next to a lot of people — once a week wouldn't be shifting much of anything for me. My guess is a stack becomes necessary down the line, unless I shed the rest before the effect fades.
