Hey everyone, seems we share the same goals!

I just joined this forum, though the “scene” itself isn’t new to me. Since February I’ve been working on my health and reshaping my body.

At 240lbs I reached my lowest point. I’m 5’7” and 38years young. Watching so many friends near my age deal with health problems or end up in really bad shape pushed me to finally take my health seriously. I also lost several friends due to the choices they made about their health.

Everything stacked up: being overweight, unhealthy, and overeating brought on low drive and low testosterone. I got labs done and mostly things looked fine, except my test levels.

A friend suggested Reta to me, saying it has minimal sides and so on. My starting dose was 1mg/week, and I’ve titrated up to 4mg a week. Now I’m down to 203lbs and have added a good amount of muscle definition.

I train 5-days a week and my nutrition macros are:

1800-1900cals a day

180g carbs

50g fats

180g protein

I’m really happy with where I am, but I want to keep progressing. I attached pictures from my start and from 2weeks ago, and defining and waist trending down!

Beyond the weight loss, I’ve become more athletic, energetic, clear minded, and my sleep is amazing. Plus I’m keeping up with my kids.

I hope to keep this on and that we can share our experiences and progress forward together!

Thanks for having me 🫡

glad to see you here, and it's great that you're stepping up to drop that weight. brother, don't skip cardio while you're working on your fitness! riding a bike will destroy that fat and whip you into excellent condition as you drop the pounds, right up until your knees are ready for running. don't toss cardio aside in favor of only lifting! a while back i made that exact mistake and could never figure out why i remained fat. buy an actual bicycle and use it to get around, it's enjoyable.

years ago my peak was around 200 (male, 5'11) and i shed it through dieting, hard work and dedication spread across several years.

about the low T, i can offer pointers. my total T is usually ~600 (completely average). for a long stretch i was taking Enclomiphene 25mg daily, HCG 25 mg daily, and it doubled my free and total T to ~1200 and genuinely made me far more athletic, neither of those is regulated in the US

i'd say your macros are pretty damn on point. if you lack a solid app for counting calories, that is paramount for monitoring your diet and progress. i use a free one containing literally 10's of thousands of items saved, which makes tracking my progress super easy. if you'd like any pointers on staying fit and building lean muscle, feel free to dm me,

Apologies for getting back to you so tardily!

Thanks for the input! To bring my levels into the right range, I'm on TRT. Once I drop more weight, I plan to add more running, since that will put less strain on my joints. I own an actual bicycle, and I use it for cardio after workouts as well as on rest days.

As another option, I typically stick with zone 2 brisk walks
