Boomer senior grandmother. Hey, am I the oldest member here? I was watching Hogan’s Hero’s before admin was born. “I know nothing”…as in how to navigate Discord, like I can’t even get my American Flag selected. Oh well, about me: Started Mounjaro 3 + years ago w/ Lilly coupon to lose 30 pounds as suggested by great physician. Love at first burp. Stopped bc of cost. Started again Fall ‘25 w/ compounded from WL clinic. Stopped again bc of cost. Albeit lower $ than brand name Mounjaro. Met peppy personal trainer Jan 2026. Me: “you mean there’s more than just Tirzepatide and Semaglutide???”. Oh my! I have since crash course studied all things pep. Being retired I have time to learn. Ratted my way thru: Sema,Tirz, Reta, Cag, Tesa, DSIP, Epitalon, Cerebrolysin, NAD+, Glutathione, SS31, Mots-C, GLOW, KLOW Selank and Semax. Here to learn as I have noticed quality difference depending on source. Will occasionally offer advice such as don’t duplicate hitting receptors ex. Tirz and Reta. Love micro dosing. Thank you for your patience with me.

Welcome! I am also a senior; happy to see other women in my age group wanting to improve their health. The grandkids need us happy and healthy 😉

Semax had no effect on me. However, Tesamorelon did. Quite unexpectedly I noticed sharper cognitive skills especially verbal recall… such that I read more on Tesa: “Clinical studies suggest that tesamorelin, a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog, may modestly improve verbal memory and verbal recall”

I like when I notice a benefit that was unexpected so placebo effect doesn’t enter the equation. Tesa surprised me with benefits as did BPC157 for exercise recovery. I was taking BPC in GLOW stack for skin, clueless about recovery benefit but did notice it after the fact. Read about it and was convinced.

Yeah, i've read about mixed results with Semax and I'm not sure buying a kit, go through testing etc is worth the experiment here. Tesamorelon sounds interesting as well but my blood pressure is naturally a bit high and I'm trying to avoid anything that can contribute to making that more difficult. My impression has always been that GH (or anything that aids in producing more in the body) can be counter intuitive to managing blood pressure for those that struggle with it. I'll have to do more research on this one!
