In my 40's now, and a pear-shaped body with a fat abdomen has always been my build — though strict IF and exercise managed to "normalise" it back in my 30's. Then kids arrived (both with ADHD/ASD, which eats my time), and working from home means the energy and time to look after myself properly are gone, so Reta is now something I'm seriously considering. Resistance training at home with dumbbells is doable, and I did that successfully a few years back until a shoulder injury; starting it up again is the plan, so other options will be looked into as and when my journey begins and progresses. This place looks like a great forum, and there's a wealth of info in it for anyone willing to dig.
