Several months of quietly reading this forum finally pushed me to stop lurking and create an account. Europe is where I'm based, I'm in my mid-40s, and in a new community I tend to take my time before speaking up. Observing first, and getting a feel for the tone and culture here, is what I prefer.
Following the discussions is my main interest, along with learning from people who have more experience and staying informed over the long term. Posting a lot isn't something I'm in a rush to do — for now it will mostly be reading and the occasional comment when I feel I have something useful to add.
