Hey everyone, good to meet you all in this virtual space 🙋🏻‍♂️. Some background on me: I'm a guy in my middle years, and I've just started experimenting with peptides, even though I spent my entire life as the "Anti Meds" type. Monjauro was actually prescribed to me, but I was too chicken 💩 to use it, so my wife ended up taking it and SHRUNK !!! I mean she got back to the weight she was at 17 yrs ago, before pregnancy. That pushed me to grab my 🥜 and give it a shot, because my thinking is that my usual habits are probably more likely to punch my ticket sooner than giving peptides a try 🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyway, she finished all the Monjauro, and since I hadn't seen a Dr in a while, I couldn't get a script refill. Honestly, after seeing the side effects my wife dealt with, I also couldn't afford it. I'm the bread winner with a physical labor job, so I can't be calling out regularly because of the shits, nausea, or terrible headaches. So I took a leap of faith and got some Reta ( I liked the fatty liver correction aspect of it that I read about ) from a family friend, and low and behold 12 weeks later I’m down 28lbs. Needless to say , it’s definitely a understatement for me say “Now I see what the hype is all about”

Hopefully everyone will be tolerable of my ridiculous noob questions as I begin my journey.

Thanks everyone🙋🏻‍♂️👊🏻

Before posting, I dug through old threads via the search function to get my answers. That’s one perk of showing up “late to the game” as you put it lol. Welcome to the forum.

Same here! The search feature is great for checking whether a question I have has already been covered

Starting now is better than never! At 54, I’ve only just begun my own peptide journey. I used to be the same way—completely opposed to medications and similar things. That changed after watching a friend struggle with obesity and health problems for years. He began peptide therapy 2 years ago, and now he looks just like he did in high school!!
