here I am !
다들 수고 많으십니다.
I am now on 8th week of mounjaro.
I’ve struggled with food noise and PCOS for basically my entire life. Maintaining a “normal” weight has always felt like something I had to work way harder at than everyone else. I’ve exercised consistently for years and kept my diet insanely strict, but honestly, trying to maintain all of that was mentally exhausting.
Then I found Mounjaro, and for the first time, I’m not thinking about food all day or spiraling into guilt and self-hate over it. I can actually focus on the things I need to do. I don’t have to pour all my energy into fighting myself anymore, and I’m genuinely so relieved.
The problem is that access to Mounjaro in Korea has gotten really difficult, and there’s talk of tighter regulations around it. It’s already ridiculously expensive here compared to nearby countries, so the whole situation has been incredibly frustrating. Like… cigarettes are readily available, but people are supposed to be denied a medication that has actually made their lives healthier and more manageable?
So I went down a very deep research rabbit hole and somehow ended up here.
I’m a little nervous, but I think I’m ready to take the leap and be part of this community. Really hoping to learn from people here, share what I can, and support each other along the way.
