Hi everyone! I work as a clinical nurse educator in the ICU, up in Northern Alberta. Weight management has been a long, on‑and‑off road for me. Semaglutide worked well for me at first — I was on it for more than three years — but in the end my body simply quit responding.
Once I'd researched it thoroughly, I decided this past January to come off semaglutide and switch to Reta—and so far the results have been remarkable. That's 38 pounds off in 16 weeks, and I feel better than I have in ages. I'm also lifting 5 times a week with my food dialled in, so lifestyle is part of it too. Reta can't take all the credit, but it's clearly made a difference.
As you'd expect, I'm well and truly down the peptide rabbit hole! I've been trialling stacking and cycling various peptides and can't wait to keep learning and testing more. I'm really looking forward to connecting, passing on what my own experience has taught me, and picking up plenty from all of you too. Glad to be in the group and in the discussions ahead!
