I currently live in NYC and Orlando. I work in aviation so I bounce around but mostly in NYC these days.. praying for the day I move back to South Florida. I'm 47 and my weight has fluctuated for many years. I used to keep a zero carb, all protein diet to manage weight gain but i hated every day i was on the diet. I tried different ways but honestly the best thing that worked for me was phentermine but i hated the jitters it gave me. Well, 3 yrs ago several people around me were on Ozempic losing weight and i couldnt get coverage so I tried GLP1 company here in NYC. I lost 15 lbs but they charged for the per vial and upping dosages was just buying more vials plus they charged high monthly subscription fees. That paused me, and i gained the weight back.. I then got ozempic cheap in Amsterdam but found that ozempic really wasnt doing it for me. I needed higher dosages and shell out more cash. I just stopped because I started having massive pain in my hip and leg. I thought it was sciatica pain and maybe something to do with ozempic. A year later it turns out I had necrosis of the hip/femur joint and needed a hip replacement. Well the 4 months I was out I gained even more weight. I spent much of the time researching this new fancy thing the kids were calling Reta. Now that my pants are bigger and I'm back at work.. my hip is doing better but its time to help it with some weight loss. I have coworkers who are on reta and their weightloss journey and results pushed me to just order and give it a go. So i'm on my first week of it and crossing my fingers to have equal success using it. I saw a mention of this group on a random post on reddit and bounced around google to find this forumn. Hoping to learn more here and see where the journey leads me.. sincerely, -Ryan
