Howdy from Texas!

I've been a bigger guy for as long as I can remember, though I managed to stay fairly healthy by keeping active throughout my 20's and into my 30's. Unfortunately, a serious motorcycle accident that led to multiple knee surgeries, combined with a shift to a more sedentary tech job, caused my weight to balloon. Eventually I'd had enough and chose to start working on myself. I dropped a decent amount of weight at first, but food noise was a constant struggle and I just couldn't figure out the right approach to get my weight where it needed to be.

Peptides had crossed my radar, but I never went after them until my doctor suggested tirz. The early results were good, yet the cost was simply too steep to keep up. I switched to prescribed compounded tirz, which has kept working well for me. There's still a ways to go, but it feels like peptides finally handed me the weapons to win the war against myself.

Research and curiosity brought me to this place, where I hope to learn more about the world of peptides and this community.

Welcome!

I appreciate you telling your story. Seeing the level of resolve you've kept up through all of that is genuinely motivating. When nothing else seems to work, peptides can feel like a real turning point, and it's wonderful that you've landed on something that helps you. At this point, everything I've picked up has come from going through this forum, and it has been a phenomenal resource. Happy to be part of this and to keep learning with all of you.

Thank you! The biggest shift, I think, is that it handed me the mental energy and bandwidth to work on other parts of my life. I was shocked by how much room it gave me to be myself again.

Glad to have you here! Motorcycles are my thing as well, and it's rough to hear about what happened to you. Peptides should help you get where you want to be, and this place has plenty of folks with know-how who can pitch in. Which part of Texas are you in?

I'm based near Houston, though I've spent time in several other spots over the years — among them the hill country and the DFW metroplex.

Out here the riding doesn't hold a candle to what the hill country offered, haha
