Hey everyone. After reading along quietly for a while, I figured it was time to stop lurking and post my intro. I'm excited to swap info with all of you. I've been using compounded tirz for close to 3 months now. Switching over to the stuff between black and white is something I've considered for some time, and I've put in a good amount of research on it--the latest FDA FUD has really gotten under my skin lately. For my pre-diabetes, tirz has worked wonders, and within just 3 months my A1c dropped from 5.9 to 5.6, and that's even after I stopped metformin and jardiance when I began tirz. On top of that, I've shed nearly 20lbs, and honestly it happened with very little effort! Since I've got high visceral fat and a fatty liver, I'm thinking about giving reta a shot. Anyway, happy to be part of the group here.

Switched over from Tirz to Reta at the start of '26. Expect a plateau until you figure out the right dose for yourself. I had been at 10mg of Tirz, and my Reta starting dose was 1mg; it did nothing, and now I'm at 2.5mg every 5 days, with progress picking back up. For a few days I dealt with the skin sensitivity issue that I'd heard about, though it went away. So far, the biggest plus with Reta is being able to pee and poop more regularly. Best of luck!
