Hi Folks

A few years back, when these meds first came out here in the UK, I gave Wegovy a go. It left me feeling awful — car sickness hit me hard, and I'd never dealt with any kind of travel sickness before in my life.

So I dropped that and switched to Mounjaro, which I really rated. The quieting of food noise and the way it changed my drinking habits was incredible. I dropped 6 stone before I had to stop. Once my BMI got close to normal, the pharmacy had zero interest in keeping me on it.

So it's been 9 months since I stopped, and I've regained a third of what I'd lost. I've managed to get mounjaro again through a pharmacy, but they're already making things really hard.

So I'm here to read as much as I can, learn everything possible, and see what other options might exist out there.

Thanks

Semaglutide/wegovy hit me with the most brutal side effects I've ever dealt with. I stuck to a low dose as well, and now I'm concerned some of it might be permanent. Fingers crossed Tirz treats me better.

No need to rush — there's a lot here to go through. With this kind of thing, caution beats regret, but if you take it slow you can absolutely stay safe and well. Best of luck, and have fun.

Same here. I stopped drinking pretty much in one go. Pretty amazing. These days I'm moving toward Reta, which is great too 👌
