I've spent a while just reading and soaking up information without joining in, but I figure the moment has come to begin.

A physical setback has really disrupted the way I train, and now I'm putting on fat rather than building muscle.

I value this community and hope to shift from mostly observing to actually adding something.

I’ve got a rotator cuff that keeps bothering me too, from benching heavy with sloppy technique. Years back I felt a pull or a stretch, and nothing has sorted it out—not physical therapy, not a lacrosse ball, not anything. I hope you land on whatever works for you.

My weight climbed quickly after a spinal injury, and I live with disability day to day. It peaked around 230lbs and I'm sitting at 154 as of today. The fat came off, but plenty of muscle and strength went with it, which is hard to separate from the disability itself.

So yes — a sensible moment to begin.
