Hey everybody! I'm really glad to have found this place!
I've spent quite a bit of time in the Reddit groups, and I figured the moment had come to join this forum so I could go deeper into what I know and connect with people who think the same way.
Like a number of you, my GLP-1 path began at a med spa, and the prices there were outrageous enough that my wallet really felt it.
A personal trainer friend of mine mentioned other peptides that were assisting him with recovery and tissue repair. Right then peptides caught my attention so strongly that I jumped in headfirst. I picked up every book I could get from folks who appear to stand out in the biohacking space (such as doctor william seeds), and as a woman in her late thirties and a business owner in central florida, the things that drew me in most were energy, focus, endurance and recovery.
I began modestly with a few peptides from American suppliers that are definitely not inexpensive, but they gave me a certain amount of reassurance regarding purity, etcs.
NAD+, MOTS-c, 5-Amino-1MQ, Semax, Selank, GLOW and afterward KLOW, (not all simultaneously) transformed my life. The simplest way I can put it is that I felt like myself again. Once I hit 34/35, something shifted. It didn't happen all at once, but for a few years now I'd been waking up already completely drained. My business sits in an industry that truly never stops. I have to be on the move most days, my staff counts on me, and even though I love what I do, all I wanted each day was to get home and numb myself with tv. I hated the person I had turned into.
For most of my life, I was a gym rat, I enjoyed being extremely active, eating well, keeping my health a priority. But through the pandemic I was a one woman show in an industry that isn't meant to be. My health took a severe hit from it, I badly injured my back and the doctor told me to forget about lifting weights for a while. That also sent me into a serious depression, and that in turn led to medication - which I hated.
Peptides transformed my life. They genuinely did. I went from being a shell of who I used to be back to my old self: bursting with energy, ideas and such passion for life, it's almost unreal. Some of my friends don't take me seriously and I suppose they aren't ready for the peptide revolution, but for me, being here with like minded individuals who I'm certain went through something similar to what I did fills me up with joy!
Thanks in advance to everyone that mods this forum and every member of it. I look forward to making like minded friends!
