Hey all,

I’m on Terz right now and have lost 30lbs — the weight loss has slowed, so I’m planning to switch to Reta, and I’ve still got another 30lbs I want to drop.

I’m also joining to pick up info on NAD+ and what it can do for energy, plus anything related to youth and longevity.

The amount of knowledge in this community has really impressed me, and I want to both learn and add something.

Hey, welcome aboard! You've clearly already done some reading around here, so I'd suggest spending a moment looking at other things that might be behind the slowdown in your weight loss. When I got to the 30lb mark myself, I had to take another look at what I was eating, because my intake had crept up near the maintenance level for my then-current weight. I trimmed roughly 2-300 calories, and the pounds started coming off nicely once more.

The tirz dose you're taking could also play a role. Both tirz and reta have worked well for me. Honestly, reta doesn't suppress appetite to the same degree. If tirz is what's helping you eat less, and that's the effect you're after, my advice is to stay on it.

With reta, your heart rate will go up, and that might get in the way of your workouts if you train hard on a consistent basis.

Whichever route you take, best of luck! Glad to have you join us.

Char’s point is spot on. Unlike Tirz, Reta won’t stop you from consuming more. One option is to fast with a plan and/or raise protein while cutting the other macros. Fasting never fails to break my stalls. Still, you need a strong will.
