Hi all and good luck with your goals!
I went through this telehealth thing that was in network for my health fund, I tried to get it covered by my health fund, but they won't do it without a kind of co morbidity. So I got the $199.00, one month 0.25. And bang, it seems to work. I lost about... eight pounds over the month. And I thought, okay, easy. I'll just get it again. So I booked a consult to get another prescription. But the woman that I got said, oh, they should have given you a blood test. They should have done this. They should have done that. So they made me jump through all kinds of hoops. Long story short, it took like three weeks to get the prescription again. You know, they needed the results. They needed to have a follow-up consult. They probably billed my health fund a thousand bucks for a bunch of these consults, looking at tests and stuff, et cetera.
So then, yeah, they gave me one more RX eventualy. But I had gone three weeks without it. Started drinking again and lost the momentum. I was back up, like six or seven pounds, basically back to square one. So I took it. I ordered another $199. Fair enough. And I now I can't get it for $199 anymore. I only get two goes at $199. Then they want $350. That's just way too much for me. I'm not paying that much. It's just stupidity. My health fund would be better off funding me to take this stuff because it cuts my drinking down to almost nothing. And it makes me lose weight. I'm just obesity type level one to two. I'm not crazy overweight, but still, I'm 48. My health fund would save money by just prescribing this stuff to me, but no, they won't. So here I am.
