Hi everyone, I'm Socalgirl97.
I've been dealing with type 2 diabetes, and for the past 4 weeks I've been using 2 mcg of Reta. So far the scale has only moved 3 lbs, but my blood sugar readings have gotten better. For reference, I'm a 47 yr old Female weighing 243.
Losing a bit more weight is something I'd like to do, but I can't figure out where I'm going wrong. Since starting Reta, my insomnia has become worse, and I keep waking up to drink water because my mouth is so dry. On top of that, I take 2000 mg of metformin.
Does anyone else experience side effects like these? During the day I drink plenty of water along with electrolytes, I eat protein, and I do light workouts on my elliptical. Should I consider stacking another compound to speed up my weight loss? Is there anyone else with type 2 diabetes who is on Reta? Thanks so much ahead of time, and have a blessed day.
