Hey everyone, happy to be among fellow peptide enthusiasts!

About 4 weeks back, I worked up the nerve to ask out a cute girl I'd noticed at the gas station. On the date, she told me about Reta. She walked me through how she'd dropped 40 pounds over a few months, and I was hooked. Back then I had no clue what a peptide even was, but a few weeks later I'm now spending 4-6 hours every day reading up on peptides lol.

I'm a guy in my late 30s, 6'2" and 235 pounds. I've got an athletic frame, but there's a lot of fat sitting around my midsection that makes me look sloppy. Friends have told me I don't look as good as I once did, and I'm ready to get back in shape.

What I want out of peptides: fat loss, better overall health, and more energy. Being constantly tired has worn me down.

I'm on several peptides, but the forum rules say I can't discuss them in this thread, so I'll get into that another time.

Reta

  • 1.5mg every 4 days
Results so far:

  • Down 5 pounds so far
  • Alcohol intake cut by 60%
  • Nicotine intake cut by 60%
  • Calories cut by 50%
  • No bad side effects yet
  • I've figured out that with these compounds you begin really small and build up gradually

Thanks for sticking with me this far! I'm hoping to add something positive to this forum through everything I pick up.

Thanks!

Week 1 I went with 1mg, then for the following 3 weeks I moved up to 2mg. Calling your starting dose tiny is a bit of a stretch, honestly. In the trials the starting point was 2mg, though that was administered once every 7 days — so every Monday. I don't see any reason to switch to a every 4 days schedule.

Yeah, I came across info saying it may provide gentler peaks and troughs, which would mean fewer side effects and less rebound. This is what Gemini has to say on the matter:

  • 7-Day Dosing: This produces a larger "peak" (the highest concentration) soon after injecting, along with a smaller "trough" (the lowest concentration) just before the following dose. That may cause stronger side effects in the first 48 hours, plus a sense that the medication is "wearing off" come day 6.
  • 4-Day Dosing: When you dose more often, you "smooth out" the curve. The peaks do not reach as high, and the troughs do not drop as low.
    • Potential Benefit: This may be useful if the side effects (such as nausea) feel intolerable on day 1–2 after a weekly dose, or if you get a noticeable "return of hunger" by day 5–6.
