Hi. I'm new here. Already a user of Mounjaro and looking for some experience on Retatrutide. Based in the Netherlands, so I'll probably stay near the Continental Cafe 🙂

Thanks. I already lost about 30kg on Tirzepatide, but now I'm a bit stalled, so looking to switch to Retatrutide. Partially, to try something else, and partially, the cost.

Welcome! What is your tirz dose? Can you titrate up or are you maxed out?

The biggest thing when switching from tirz to Reta is the drop in appetite suppression as Reta doesn’t have as much of an affinity to glp1 and gip receptors as tirz does. However, it makes up for this with glucagon receptor activation which increases your TDEE.

My GF is currently on Reta (well.. started again after a few months of usage) now mainly maintenance dose, I skipped Reta because of the RHR and my use of beta blockers, but indeed Tirz is already giving me a good suppression

Well. Tirz suppresses my appetite most of the time, and it's doing a great job. I do have some very very rare occasions where I binge eat. So, losing appetite suppression is what scares me most about potentially switching to Reta.

I can imagine, same for me, i'll stick with what i'm using right now 🙂

Me too. But I'm now investigating stacking Tirza and Reta by titrating 1 step down on Mounjaro and adding 1mg of Reta just to see how it goes.
