Hey everyone, hope all is well with you.

At 48 years old, I'm carrying too much weight, dealing with type 2, and the years of [past] hard living and neglect have caught up with me.

I stand 5'11 and weigh 275lb, and even if it's late in the game, I want to sort my sh*t out.

My feet and legs are hit hard by diabetic neuropathy, and my job keeps me sitting all day. There's more going on, but I'll spare you the details.

I've just begun ret and TRT, and I'm trying to push myself to work out. Undoing all those bad habits is going to be a challenge.

On the bright side, my head's in an okay place and I don't usually let myself get too discouraged. I realize there's a mountain of effort ahead, so this community seems really great.

Looking forward to talking with some of you soon.

J

Greetings, another person from the UK here. From what I've experienced, having the right attitude accounts for a big part of getting there, and it seems you're already putting yourself in a good position. Wishing you all the best

Cheers mate, really appreciate it!

It's not too late. Learn about metabolic health and nutrition. Remember that you have the power to slowly change your health, one meal at a time.

I get where you're coming from. I figured I'd never make it to 40 — I lived so wildly, like a mofo. Yet here I am at 61. How tf did that happen?

Haha, same here mate, always swore I wouldn't make it to 40, absolutely wrecked myself, and now I'm dealing with the consequences!
