I go by Tere, and it’s great to meet you all! Natasha is the cat
For the last 2 months I’ve been using Mounjaro, and even at the lowest dose the results have been good. I’m in my 50s, my mother had an eating disorder while raising me, and food has been a complicated part of my life for as long as I can remember. For several years now I’ve been working on recovery from chronic dieting and behaviours close to an eating disorder. Perimenopause also hit me hard.
Learning more about what exists beyond big pharma seemed like it could be useful; chances are this will be a medication I take for life, so having the ability to pick my own path with that could help. Right now I’m fine with tipping EL, but getting a handle on how the alternatives work feels like a wise plan. There’s obviously a huge amount of knowledge here to take in.
Cheers
