Hi Glp1 community,
I came across this forum while looking through some subreddits. It's clear why things are kept fairly low-key, but my reason for being here is to gain knowledge and broaden my understanding, since I think that's empowering.
In my view the subreddits are full of scammers, and I was told that educational resources can be found here along with real, honest discussions.
Pinning itself isn't new to me — I do it every day because of a hypogonadism diagnosis, so it's a big part of my life. That said, peptides and GLP's are uncharted territory for me until now.
My main aim is to treat reta as a tool, not a shortcut. Right now I'm 90kg, 6ft tall, reasonably muscular, and 37 years old. Under 20% body fat is the target, but even though I track calories and macros consistently, stay in a calorie deficit, eat fairly healthy, and have bad food in moderation, I've been training five times a week and the goal still hasn't been reached. Losing around 8-10kg is the aim, so this is more of a cut than anything else.
Monday, January 26th is when I plan to start the Retta. How long I'll run it for isn't decided yet, but probably until I reach my goal. What life is like after Reta is something I'm wondering about. Surely If I maintain a positive relationship with food and a healthy mindset, could I maintain my gains and success.
Glad to be part of this community,
J
