I'm 47 years old, dealing with T2D and a horseshoe kidney, and I've been battling weight issues for as long as I can remember as an adult.

Throughout my 20s, 30s, and the first half of my 40s, my weight stayed above 300 lbs, frequently hitting 330.

About 2.5 years back, I decided to take my health and weight seriously. Over 9 months, I dropped 30 lbs, which felt great, but I was still relying on a lot of daily meds: 2 for high blood pressure, 2 for blood glucose, 2 for depression, and a few more, adding up to 10 pills a day (some taken twice daily).

So, I talked to my PCP about alternatives, and they suggested Mounjaro. The outcomes have been incredible!

I went from 290 down to 185 lbs in the following 12 months, increasing the dose to 12.5mg, and I was able to stop 6 daily meds, halve the dosage of 2 others, all with great lab results.

For the past 6 months, I've kept my weight between 185-190 on 10mg, and now I'm looking to move forward.

I'm trying to fix as much bodily harm as possible from over 25 years of having nearly 40% body fat.

I've switched to Reta at 4mg weekly to target the last 4-6% body fat, and I'm doing a 12-week cycle of the following to aid recovery.

TB4: 1mg daily

ARA-290: 4mg daily, only for the first 5 weeks

Tesa: 2mg daily

BPC-157: 250-500mcg twice daily

Wow, that's an amazing gesture! In terms of repairing damage, which peptide do you find stands out more?

I really can't give you an answer there. Since I began all of them together, I'm just 3 weeks in.

That said, the neuropathy I had in my feet is gone.

My tibialis anterior had atrophied from nerve damage caused by several ruptured discs, and that has improved a great deal. I still need to have ROM evaluated.

The clicking and popping in my rotor cuff has nearly vanished too.

Glad to have you here! What really caught my attention is your experience with ARA-290. Neuropathic pain has started affecting me not long ago, and it's mostly concentrated in my feet. Getting to sleep has become harder because of it.

When you mixed it up, did anything go wrong? I've heard from some that it can turn gel-like or form clumps. How much did you dilute it, and at what concentration? Appreciate it!

Glad to meet you! I'm also just getting started! (Class of 2/21/2026) haha. I'm curious to hear more about how ARA has worked for you. From what I understand, it's mainly used for nerve pain, but I've been dealing with chronic back pain for 40 years, and I've come across reports of people finding relief from ARA for that too.

Reconstitution hasn't given me any trouble. I'll do 3 vials of 16mg in a single session. Into each one goes 1ml of Hospira BAC, after which I draw all 3 vials into 1 syringe, then filter the lot into a 3ml pen vial.

That works out to 48mg/3ml. My daily dose is 4mg(25iu)

Whether your long-term back pain is mechanical or neuropathic makes all the difference here.

If it's something along the lines of sciatica, then absolutely.
