Hi all,
I’m in my late 50s and have struggled with obesity since childhood. A decade ago I dropped 180lbs, though keeping it off meant working out 4-5 hours daily—something I couldn’t maintain long-term. After I hurt my foot while running and then lost two relatives early in the pandemic, the pounds began returning. Attempting to shed weight at this older age has been deeply humbling. I just regret all the time I spent telling myself I didn’t need help.
