I’ve been lurking for awhile. I’m in my 4th month of a reta clinical trial, so mostly preparing for the future and/or researching other useful peps.

Interesting? What are your thoughts about which arm of the study you're in?

I've been on tirz since December and started adding reta in May. Easy least at .5, .75, 1, and 2. This week I decided to go up to 4 and man was that a dumb idea. I feel pretty ill and have been fully unable to eat for 2 days. It feels like my stomach is eating itself. I started feeling quasi-okay a couple hours ago, but now I'm back in the bad place.

Anyway I'd love to hear your trial experiences, and especially if you felt your dose was pushed too far too fast. Welcome!

I had the full menu of side effects from day 1. I’m in Triumph-9, and everyone starts at 2mg. I (luckily) landed in the slow titration group (12 weeks). About 10 weeks in I was just starting to eat solid food again, then week 13 my dose went up to 4mg…all the nausea and skin sensitivity came back, daily reflux, fatigue, cold…

I’ll stick it out, but the trials are merciless. Lilly really likes saying reta is equivalent to bariatric surgery, so they keep pushing participants. I’ve lost about 10% of my body weight at week 14.

Hi,

do you use Tirz & Reta at the same time or a few days in between?

i'm on Tirz now and also thinking to add Reta at the smallest dose of 0.5mg

What can you tell me about spacing the tirz and reta doses? I've been on white-label tirz for a while, and have plateaued for almost a year (maybe swapping some lbs of fat for lean mass, but the scale doesn't move at all). I was assuming I would do something like my standard dose of Zepbound on Sunday, and starting a low dose of reta on Thursday.
