Hi! Posting on a real forum again feels great — I'm pretty sure the last time I registered for one was back in 2009.

So, after lurking for ages, I finally made an account. This place helped me tremendously last December when I began tirzepatide (208lbs down to 185lbs as of today!) after getting a Mounjaro prescription, having insurance flat-out deny it, etc. — you know how it goes. Nearly every question I came up with had already been covered somewhere here.

I'm 33, just became an officially certified crazy cat lady yesterday by adopting my 5th cat, and I'm thrilled that my A1C has dropped to 5.1, down from 6.2 a year ago!

Here's the amusing part: a few years back I picked up a Traegar smoker, and ever since starting tirzepatide it's been getting a LOT of mileage. During January, it felt like I was constantly cycling through pork butts and chicken wings, since they reheat nicely and are convenient to bring to work 🤣 so I'm certainly not missing out.
