Hey everyone, coming to you from europe. I've messed around with semglutide before. At first it was rybelsus taken by mouth, and now I've moved up to injections. I've also run a few low dose trials with Ratrudide. Looking forward to picking up knowledge and finding fresh ways to keep my bodyfat under control given my bad genetics.

At the moment I'm taking 1mg of Reta. The strongest effect usually hits me the day after I inject. Hunger is basically gone. But on the following days I still end up eating way too much. Been stuck for a few weeks now (after losing 4 kg at the start - began at 95 kg at 180cm). I figure the dose needs to go up.

Hey man! Another hello from Europe 🙂

Liraglutide was my routine for roughly 6 years (prescribed), though self discipline was always the weak point.

A couple of weeks into reta now: began at 2mg for 2 weeks, then 2.5 on two occasions, and sitting at 3 as of now.

On top of that, at least 3 sessions a week — mostly lifting. Every protein, fat and carb gets counted. Results should follow. Sweets and simple carbs had a proper hold on me.

A month back things were rough: glucose sitting at 250-300mg/dL, which is dangerous territory.

These days it tops out at 110-150. Diabetes type 2, for what it's worth.

The aim is to shed something like 20kg of fat (currently around 108kg) and build comparable muscle.

Take reta gently, and pay attention to what your body tells you.

Climbing the dose slowly beats feeling awful.

I went in slightly higher because after all those years on liraglutide my GLP-1 isn't producing as much as it once did.

Good luck!

Hey man, I appreciate you getting back to me. Sounds like you're doing really well. When you put Reta next to Lira, it's a completely different beast. You look like someone who managed to stop that vicious cycle and open up room for genuine changes such as macro tracking, weight training, and so on.

Yeah, I picked that up on my own too. Better to take it slow. Still, thankfully Reta appears to come with fewer side effects than semaglutide. On larger Sema doses, the tiredness was nearly impossible to handle.
