Hey all,

I'm not getting any younger, but I'm putting in the effort to keep myself in decent shape so I can enjoy life as much as possible. Health and fitness have been on my radar for years, and I've tried a wide range of diets and routines — Keto, carnivore, fasting, cold plunges, the Wim Hof Method, plenty of yoga, and more.

A friend sparked my curiosity about peptides. At first I was quite doubtful, but after digging deeper into the research, I came around to thinking there's genuinely promising stuff there — something that could nicely support much of what I've already been doing for my health and fitness. Not long ago I gave Reta a go for a period alongside a sensible low fat diet, and the results were solid. That's made me want to find out about other options that might help not only with fat loss, but also skin, mental clarity, and so on. My aim is to feel as good as I can, become the best version of myself, and swap what I learn with people who share the same mindset.

Thanks

Welcome! It sounds like you've already poked around a lot of health and fitness territory — keto, carnivore, fasting, cold exposure, Wim Hof, yoga… that's a pretty complete set of tools already.

Many folks in this space start out with the same feeling about peptides: doubt at first, then interest once you begin reading the studies and hearing real-world stories. It's curious how they can work alongside so many of the lifestyle habits you listed, rather than take their place.

Good to hear Reta treated you well too. When that metabolic side starts showing results, it commonly leads people to explore other things such as recovery, skin health, and cognitive performance.

I really like the approach of finding out how good you can feel and passing on what you pick up as you go. Happy you're here — lots of similar-minded experimenters in this community. 🧬💪

Really appreciate it — after ages, I finally get the sense that this is precisely where I belong, and I genuinely enjoy digging into research and trying things out. I've spent my whole life exploring new subjects. At 14, I taught myself to become a professional juggler and magician using library books, so learning outside the usual paths is second nature to me, and this has all of my focus. It's been ages since I felt this thrilled about anything! Thank you all for contributing to something great!

Before long, you'll be sitting on a 3 year stash of 17 different peptides. Jokes aside, glad to have you here in the community!
Haha, appreciate it — that's what I'm aiming for, once I get a few things sorted out, lol.
