Happy to have found this space. Lifting has been part of my life for a long time, and it's a hobby my father and I bond over - what brought me here is wanting to understand peptides and recovery methods better, since he's been struggling with a tricep tear that just won't heal after several months. The whole thing has been really discouraging, and I'm looking into whether specific healing stacks (combined with proper rehab) might help him heal faster or more fully. If you've got firsthand experience, stories, or warnings about peptides for tendon or muscle injuries, I'd really appreciate hearing them. Beyond that, I'm just interested in biohacking in general, and the group testing threads I've already come across here caught my attention - I'm always trying to learn. Thanks!

Coming back to this thread after digging deeper and going through what others have written - I'm not sure it's wise for someone at my age (23yo) and with my current fitness level to turn to peptides for performance gains at all. Using Tesa for body recomp has been on my mind, and I've been justifying it to myself as if it were just another supplement (e.g. creatine, omega 3, magnesium), but now I'm questioning whether social media hype and similar influences are pushing me in a bad direction, and whether I ought to hold off until my 30s before using peptides for better performance. Would greatly appreciate thoughts if anyone even sees this thread lol

Wolverine blend (BPC/tb) was a huge help for my dad's stubborn hip injury — it got him healing. My wrist injury healed with it too. Provided you buy from a reputable source and have it tested, I'd absolutely suggest it for your dad, assuming he's open to giving it a shot.

On the question of peptides at your age, that's a hard call only you can make. GH secretagogues are something I struggle with. Many of the folks promoting them aggressively happen to be the ones selling them. And figuring out whether they're doing anything for you is trickier. With GLPs the weight comes off, Wolverine repairs you, but GH peps are still tied so heavily to diet, exercise, and recovery. I've personally used sermorelin and Ipamorelin. I think I gained a bit of strength, though I also switched my lifting split at roughly the same time. What I can say I noticed right away was a dramatic improvement in sleep. So at minimum, better sleep means better recovery. Regarding age, 23 is young and your body can likely still deliver plenty without peps. That said, you won't wreck yourself either if you're cautious about doses and how long you run it. My specific advice for Tesa: get every other factor in your life dialed in first. If you still feel you want an extra boost after that, give it a try.
