Hey all,

I'm from The Netherlands, and the main reason I signed up here is to talk about GLP1 drugs — though it was a nice surprise to find threads on other peptides and supplements too.

GLP1's aren't new to me. Around 40 kgs (88 lbs) came off across a year and a half, and 20 of those kgs were lost while using ozempic plus a ketogenic diet.

Since then my bmi has bounced between 23 and 25. That's clearly an improvement over how things used to be, but I'm still not fully satisfied, and that's what brought me here.

My goal is to get healthier and shed more fat, so I've made the decision to give retatrutide a try, together with GHKcu and BPC.

Metabolic health and biology really fascinate me, and my studies line up with those areas, so I'd love to jump into discussions about all sorts of medications (without handing out medical advice, of course — I'm not a medical professional in any way and I won't act like one).

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I'm excited to post and engage with everyone here!

While following a Keto diet, did you notice any loss of muscle mass?
It's tough to judge the exact breakdown during that big drop. Some muscle was definitely shed, though that's par for the course. Since the major loss, I've been bouncing up and down, and it's become simpler to distinguish muscle loss from fat loss. Having tried both keto and non-keto approaches, I clearly see a proportionally greater fat reduction while on keto, which means less muscle is lost. Whenever I drop weight without keto (typically by accident), I wind up looking more skinny fat. Still, for anyone who can safely do it, I'd recommend keto without hesitation.
