Hey everyone. I came across this community via Reddit, and it kept appearing as the top spot to genuinely get proper knowledge on this topic, so here I am.

Since I'm a med student, the science behind Retatrutide is something that truly fascinates me, beyond just the practical aspects. I also take lifting very seriously (not competing, but it's a major part of my routine and keeps me sane through med school).

The main thing drawing me to Reta is getting rid of food noise. Managing a cut while staying on top of my studies is genuinely tough, and I'm hoping it can help me remain focused. Plus, gaining the other health benefits that come with this drug.

Excited to learn from all of you and glad to add what I can on the medical side.

For me, the food noise completely disappeared. That said, if you're someone who exercises heavily like I do, an elevated heart rate is one drawback I'm not a fan of.

That matches what I've come across too. To me, that explains why certain individuals combine reta with tirz or sema. As for me, I stick with tirz alone, and it quiets things down sufficiently.

While I'm using it, I'll keep an eye on my HR and my training. Once I've experimented, I'll need to weigh the pros and cons.

From what I've been told, tirz beats reta when the goal is cutting down food noise.
I had assumed the two went hand in hand — that as food noise went down, appetite suppression went up by a similar amount. I'll dig into this further.

Reta raises heart rate, it seems. With tirz, though, I get a downside: my muscles don't receive energy when they need it. My hope is that reta fixes this thanks to the clucagon component.

Dealing with that while also cutting calories must make lifting really rough.
