Finding this forum has made me incredibly glad!

I'm 34, female, and began using Reta on February 5th; since then I've lost 22 pounds. My results please me, yet I'm also stunned by how much the food noise has dropped. Food noise has always been a major issue for me. I used to fixate on tasty-looking meals online, brainstorming what to make for dinner lol. Throughout my weight loss efforts, food noise has consistently been the hardest part. Reta has brought it down to a point I'm comfortable with, and food no longer acts as my drug. I'm eager to discover more about different peptides, especially the healing ones. For a herniated disc at my L5-S1 that has given me pain, sciatica, and even some numbness in my foot, I've been doing a BPC-157 cycle. Previously, I had ultrasound-guided epidural injections, which in time gave me some relief. Getting them is such a struggle because of insurance prerequisites, like completing extreme amounts of physical therapy just so insurance will cover an MRI and then an injection. Around the end of 2024, after my last round of injections, I felt they were starting to fade, so I began BPC-157 and have been shocked by how manageable my pain is. I can move, walk, and put on my socks with little to no pain. It's wild to consider that this issue has troubled me since 2020, yet now I can finally get so much relief. I'm excited to learn more from the threads here and from other members!

Hey there, welcome aboard. In just a brief period, Reta has completely turned my life around too. My own start was 1 month back, and I'm down 15lbs, plus it's been a big help in managing my diabetes. Not long ago, I introduced a Cagrilintide into the mix to deal with the food noise. I've got a serious sweet tooth lol.

That's wonderful! I used to have a major sweet tooth too! Now the treats sitting in the breakroom don't tempt me at all lol

Hi, I came across your post while looking through the forums for "herniated disc." Are you still on BPC-157, and does it continue to help your injury? I have an L4-5 extrusion that is prominent, and my symptoms match yours: foot pain and numbness. One epidural injection was what I tried; it gave me little relief, and the procedure itself was so painful that I doubt I could go through it again, unless I had prescription-strength pain medication or something for anxiety. Around 90lbs is what I've lost, which has helped considerably, but the pain is still there every day. Trying BPC-157 is something I've been considering, though I'd like to read more accounts from people with similar injuries first. Thanks!

Hi, Scorp44. For someone with under five months of peptide experience, you're moving fast. Going gray took me close to two years. My GLP use has been strictly for weight loss; using peptides for anything else felt like too big a step for me. Still, I've come across other accounts where peptides appeared to ease separate medical conditions. My rotator cuffs give me trouble, and physical therapy over several months brought no relief. Perhaps it's worth exploring peptides.

Hi Midwestmama0410! BPC-157 is still part of my routine for the disc herniation and it genuinely keeps the pain down at a level I can live with. In total I have had 5 epidural injections in my back since 2022. The first 2 came in 2022, 3 weeks apart. The remaining 3 were at the end of 2024, roughly a month between each. They put me briefly under anesthesia every time, so luckily the actual injection never hurt. Once they kicked in (which felt like forever), my sense is that they made a big difference to the pain and the sciatica. There is still discomfort, a twinge, in my lower right back, but I would take that over full blown sciatica any day. Back when I first began BPC-157 for my back, I felt like I was right on the edge of my back going out and dreaded the pain I knew was coming. On top of that, getting insurance to approve another MRI plus the injections is quite the circus, and it means months of agony. So another round of BPC-157 went in straight away, into my upper right glute (the closest I am willing to go to the herniation), and I really believe it has kept me from a further major episode of pain. Numbness still turns up sometimes and may never go away, but I reckon the BPC-157 is worth a shot!

Hi Shirasu893! Eventually I reached a stage where my weight made me truly uneasy and my appetite seemed impossible to manage. At last, I managed to obtain some Reta. After seeing what a game changer it turned out to be, my curiosity grew about which other peptides exist. The BPC-157 brings me relief for my disc herniation. Be sure to do your research. This forum holds a huge amount of useful information!
