INTRO Hi and hoping to overcome my needle phobia

Thank you for the encouragement about needles! For the past year and a half, I've needed blood draws every 6-12 weeks, so I believe my dislike has eased somewhat, even if I still work myself up and apply lidocaine cream. I also avoid watching, since it's something about the thought of it going through the skin (I don't even have pierced ears). My husband will do it, and hopefully I won't feel a thing! 😵‍💫

My plan is to take it extremely slowly, perhaps beginning at .25! However, I saw a post on the reddit reta sub saying that reta's full benefits only begin at 4 mg dosing? That seemed strange, so I need to find the trial data or something.
My journey went 0.5, then 1mg, and at this point I'm on 2mg, with plans to remain at 2mg for quite a while! Across 3 months at these low doses I've dropped close to 20lb, which just shows that how well a dosage works varies from person to person ☺️💖 On the subject of your needle phobia, I work as a body Piercer, so I regularly meet people who are afraid of needles and guide them through it so they can still get their piercing! Would you mind telling me which part is the scariest for you? The pain? The chance of bleeding? Something else ☺️
