Hey all!
Pete here — 31, from Australia
.
I've jumped back into trying to lose weight, and the scales currently read 110 kg. My target is 80 kg. Semaglutide is something I've taken before and it did help me make some headway, though things in my life got messy and I couldn't hold onto the results. This time around, my head is in a different place — I want to build habits that last and turn this into a permanent way of living, not just a chase for a lower number on the scales.
I signed up here because I want to hear from folks walking the same path. Tips on handling side effects, food, training, keeping the motivation going — and honest accounts of what has worked and what hasn't for other people — are exactly what I'm after. No two people seem to have the same experience, so there's a lot I'm keen to soak up.
It would also be great to link up with people who get how bumpy this whole thing can be. I plan to post about how I'm going, mark the good moments, and hopefully give a bit of encouragement back to others too.
Can't wait to get to know you all — best of luck to everyone on their own journeys!
