Since January 2025 I've been cycling on and off both Mounjaro and Wegovy, but rising prices here in the UK forced me to quit. MJ gave me fantastic results, while Wegovy produced zero effect for me. I dropped a fair amount of weight successfully on MJ, but after I stopped, the pounds have started coming back and fighting food noise every day has become a struggle.

Lately I've begun researching Reta and all the confusion that surrounds it. If anybody has pointers or advice, please share them.

In any case, it's wonderful to be here and I'm eager to pick up knowledge from everyone.

If tirzepatide was doing the job for you when it comes to food noise, my advice would be to stay on it. From what I’ve seen, Reta isn’t quite as good at quieting food noise. That’s not to say you shouldn’t give it a go, but perhaps save it for a point when Tirz by itself stops being enough. Research indicates that effectiveness drops when you begin again after a break, so stacking may become necessary once you hit a plateau at higher doses.

Really appreciate you getting back to me.

Staying on MJ is likely the smarter call, I agree — but R is already purchased, so I'll test it out: start low, move slow. That said, if locating a dependable supplier keeps being a problem, I may need to reconsider.

Thanks once more for the guidance. Hope your day is a good one 🙂
