INTRO Hey from the UK

I have been on and off Mounjaro and Wegovy since January 2025 but had to stop due to cost increases here in the UK. Mounjaro worked great for me whereas Wegovy did absolutely nothing for me. I lost quite a bit of weight well on MJ but since stopping the weight is creeping back on and the constant food noise is a daily battle.

I have recently started looking at Reta and that whole minefield. If anyone has any hints or tips please do share.

Anyway, great to be here and hoping to learn from you all.

If Mounjaro was working for you re food noise I would stick to tirzepatide. Reta doesn’t seem to be as effective at reducing food noise. I am not saying to not try it but maybe keep it in the locker for if you run out of runway with Tirz alone. Studies have shown that if you restart after stopping that it isn’t as effective, so you might need to stack after plateauing at high doses.

You are probably right about sticking with MJ but I have now bought some R so going to give it a try - low and slow - but if I continue to struggle to find a reliable source I might have to rethink.
