Hi All,

I'm a guy who's in his 30's. Being overweight has been a lifelong thing for me. Over the past year I've been hitting the gym, though the results haven't matched what I was hoping for. I'm still over 340lbs. Not long ago I talked with my Doctor about this. He brought up trying Ozempic. I had zero knowledge about this drug, but according to him it would be helpful. He explained that it will keep me from constantly wanting food. He said it will ultimately help me lose the weight I need to lose. He said it will help me get the results I am hoping for from the gym. At this stage I'm ready to give anything a shot. What I really want is to hear from others in the same boat who've seen real results. My hope is that this forum will have some solid information I can use to learn about this. No dose has been taken by me yet. I want to do my own research first. Thanks for letting me introduce myself.

Greetings, fellow chilled individual! ⛄❄️

GLPs certainly assist in lowering food noise, and the reductions achieved through them can be quite encouraging. Feel free to ask anything.

Greetings, northern neighbor. I hope everything goes well for you as you try GLP1. With Canadian health care coverage, I imagine this treatment is affordable for you.

Welcome aboard! Another Canuck right here -- it's bitterly cold out, yet we're fortunate that GLPs cost less for us! I'm new to this community too, but I'm already picking up so much from the veteran folks, so you've definitely landed in a good spot. I've stood in your shoes before, so don't lose faith! You can do this; this is the right community for you! If you're open to it, bringing up Mounjaro with your doctor could be worthwhile. For me, the side effects were fewer and the results were excellent.
