As my username suggests, I work as a Paramedic. When I began this job I weighed 170lbs, and even at that point I wasn't at a weight I'd consider ideal. My work is in a rural setting with a lot of transfers, which means I'm on the road for long stretches and my eating habits are terrible. Roughly 3 years in, I had reached 225lbs. Better food choices or more exercise were options available to me, but I didn't take them. A handful of times I tried dieting, dropping 15lbs only to put it back on.

Not long ago I came across someone online promoting Reta and going on about how amazing it was. That sent me down a 2-day rabbit hole of research, which is how I ended up here. At this point I'm just browsing the forums at my own pace, figuring out whether this is something I want to do. Thanks for reading lol

Greetings, another Canuck! Reta works well, but odds are whoever you spotted promoting it on the internet won't offer a good price, so be sure to shop around and pick up everything you can!

Appreciate it, and I’m with you on that. I’ll browse a few of the forums on this site and see what I can dig up.

I'm in nearly the identical situation. My job is a field medic at work sites, though. Plenty of downtime in between calls. My weight went from 160 up to 210. Since I've been looking into this for a couple weeks longer than you, I've got a pretty good idea of how this will play out haha

Welcome!
