I had experience with Mounjaro previously, sourced through the white(?) market, though I halted it because I needed surgery. Now I'm beginning again, but taking a far more gradual path and acquiring grey via a friend.

Wanting to have a firmer grip on my situation, I came across this forum. So I signed up to greet everyone and pick up knowledge.

Hi. Same boat here, still fresh to the board. Mounjaro left me with brutal insomnia, so I've switched over to Reta.

This time around on Mounjaro has been a lot smoother for me, though during my first attempt I felt pretty rough — my guess is the higher doses got ramped up on me too fast. That's why I'm pacing things far more gradually now.

What's your experience with Reta like?

Taking it easy looks like the smart way to go. Things are going alright with Reta for me at the moment, and luckily I haven't run into any problems with sleep. Right now though, I'm only at 1 mg, taken 2 times per week. I'm just wrapping up week 2.
