Hey everyone, Jeff here, writing from Alaska. My guess is that, just like me, most of you showed up wanting to learn and to get guidance for making sense of the world as it keeps shifting under our feet — which explains the title I picked. I'm a huge Star Wars fan; as a kid I sat through the original film in a theater over 50 times. After that came 20 years of Army service, followed by marriage and raising a family.
Over roughly the past two years I've fought my way back from obesity, hypertension, etc, etc. The first 10 months were the old-school route: hard work plus nutrition. That took me from 40% bf down to about 27%. Then in May of this year I started looking into peptides and haven't looked back since.
Right now I'm at 76 pounds lost and 16% bf. I lift heavy things on a regular basis and go hiking with my Siberian Husky. Lately I've even made it to the top of a few smaller mountains. These days my goals are to hold onto what I've built and, above all, to age gracefully so I can keep going down the trail.
I tried to add a photo of me and the husky, but it kept coming out upside down
. Either way, I'm happy to have found this forum and I'm looking forward to digging into what's here.
