I'm not great at these introductions, so I'll just write down whatever comes to mind right now. I'm 20, and I've dealt with body dysmorphia, eating addictions, depression, and a general dislike of my appearance. For a big chunk of my life I was on the heavier side, peaking at nearly 90kg. I don't know the exact body fat percentage, but I'd guess it was quite high because I was really plump. Around 17-18 I began seriously trying to lose weight, though not in a healthy way. I was starving myself, and within only 4 months I dropped from close to 90kgs down to almost 50. I felt fairly good about my looks, but I think I still carried a lot of body fat, so I hadn't really hit my goal. On top of that, I was constantly exhausted, plus very weak and fragile. I was basically nodding off on the way to school, during school, and on the way back home, falling asleep on public transport or anywhere I could sit for a couple of minutes. I even struggled to lift a 5kg jug of water. Somehow I managed to stay at 50-60kg until I was 19-20. I got a job, a physically demanding one in a warehouse. A doctor's visit was required before hiring, and that's when I also learned I was anemic. I've now worked there for 7 months and have put weight back on, sitting around 70 something kg. I've gone back to disliking my appearance even more, and I don't seem to have gotten much stronger or built any muscle over these 7 months. I can sort of understand why, since I was still eating junk until recently. For maybe 1 month or close to 2, I've been eating better, I'd say: tuna sandwiches, chicken, potatoes, greek yogurt and cottage cheese. Even though it hasn't been long, I don't see anything improving. I've known about peptides for a while, but I'm sure I'm still missing a lot of information, which I'm hoping to learn about here. My main goal is to lose the body fat. I do admire the skinny and slim look that usually asians have, but with the help of peptides I wouldn't mind a more lean muscular look. I never liked the really large muscular builds, but something lean and still slim is also something I admire. I don't know if I overshared or not, but I hope this was okay for my first post.
