This is the intro I'm putting up because the forum rules in the welcomebot message said to do it.
I live in WA state (USA), and I figure my situation lines up with what brings most folks to this place, so I'll keep it brief instead of spelling everything out. What I will say is that diabetes isn't something I have, and I'm not dealing with any health problems right now. Even so, there's a lot I want to understand, and I'm hoping to pick up plenty while I'm here, since reddit is where I found out about this site.
I'm 33, and I got out of prison fairly recently. (january) While I was in there I exercised all the time and ate what was at least a decent diet, yet the results I was after stayed out of reach. That's what pushed me to look into things more, and that search is how I ended up here.
Beyond that I'm not sure what to add. It feels like there are a ton of limits on what someone can actually say or ask around here, so I suppose this will do? Either way, if you made it through this, thanks for spending the time to read my intro.
