Does anyone still use the word noob? Meh, whatever! I used it, and I'm not taking it back. I'm really excited to be part of this forum, to pick up more about how peptides function, and to be able to ask about technical topics such as half life, stacks, diet choices, the constantly shifting world of application, and so on.

I began Sema 6 weeks ago, following several months of research. I'm moving up from the starting point. I was diagnosed with T2D and PCOS, and I kept gaining weight no matter what I did with diet and exercise. My MD told me to go for it. SW: 330 CW: 314 GW: 250

I'm perfectly happy to take it low and slow while I focus on exercise and diet, which I believe will carry me further over time. Anyway- that's probably more than you wanted to know, but since we're being open, there it is! Hiiiii!

Edit: I should add that it's truly a pleasure to meet all of you, and I'm looking forward to swapping ideas. Thank you!

Hey! Welcome!

That's great to hear — it sounds like your lifestyle really is shifting, and honestly that matters more than anything else when it comes to losing weight, because those changes are the ones that stick around!

I'm pretty new to this myself, and watching other people make progress is genuinely awesome 🙂

I began at 310 back in 2021, doing nothing but walking and tracking calories. Got down into the 190s, but for the past few years I kept bouncing around the same 30 pounds until I started tirz in Jan. Complete game changer! You'll do great!

I'm from the PNW originally too, Kitsap Peninsula, and I miss it — except on days when it's raining where I live now...which is today 😂

Great! Glad to cross paths with someone on the same wavelength. Thanks.

Oh wow. Hey there, fellow wanderer. Great to cross paths with you. I appreciate you getting back to me, and way to go on everything you've accomplished.

Rain, huh? Rain is my jam! I've wandered all over, but nothing beats the PNW for me ❤️.

Tracking calories matters most. Once I nailed down my TDEE, I've been trying hard to keep protein high and stay consistent with workouts. Certain days I nail it, other days I don't. That's just how the road to a healthier version of me goes. I really want to move without restrictions again!

When you began, was it Tirz, or did you give Sema a shot first??

Tirz is what I began with back in January. Sema was never something I tried — when it first appeared I had less money and was likely slimmer 😂 plus for a decade or however long it's been more widely known/available, it definitely cost more. Even 1 year ago, I'm pretty sure it would have blown my budget. This winter turned out to be ideal timing, though I absolutely wish I'd had this med for 20 years since weight has always been a struggle for me, but I truly found success initially in 2010 once I seriously began counting calories. In my 20s it was far easier than in my 40s, but tirz makes it so so much less of an all consuming task

I'm with you that glp-1 removed a bunch of the clutter. I've worked out my TDEE, and I'm keeping tabs on macros too. You're absolutely correct. With these medications, choosing what to do becomes way less of a struggle.

Appreciate the warm welcome to this space.

Hiiii! That bulldog in your picture caught my eye. A English French cross runs my household over here. Lazy and terrorist, mixed together just right — I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Appreciate it. Good to meet you too. Hopefully we can cheer each other on as we go.

Greetings, another PNW person here. My path began with sema, reached the target, and now I rely on a minimal tirz dose for upkeep, plus semax for memory problems tied to aging, and the outcomes have been positive.

I'd be really interested to hear how semax has worked for you — are you taking it as a subq injection or using a nasal spray?

Thanks for the welcome and for responding. Wishing you the best on your path. What does Semax do for you on a personal level?

My guess is that down the road I'll make the switch from Sema to Tirz, though it makes sense to finish what's already here and whatever is still coming before I change anything.

Semax has been beneficial for my short-term memory issues, as well as my cognitive function, and it has assisted with my vocabulary when speaking.

Driving along the Oregon coast ranks among the most unforgettable trips we have taken. I was completely unaware. You're fortunate.
