Hello. My name is Chris. I am new to the forum. I am looking to educate myself on the world of peptides. I am in my mid-40s. I have struggled with my weight since... forever. Since high-school, I have bounced around 170lbs to recently 270lbs since this past February. I am 6'0ft. I have had drastic up and down weight fluctuations throughout the years. I started a sedendary job at the top of 2025 after having pretty active/physical jobs most of my adult life. My relationship with food has been really complicated since I was a young lad. I got carried away once I started my sedendary job and before I knew it, I ballooned up to 270lbs by Feb 2026. YIKES!

This is the heaviest I have ever been. My past high was 250, back in 2020 after my shoulder surgery and a head injury that led to depression. Prior to accident, I was a shredded 180lbs with a six pack for the first time in my life. That was all wasted after the accident. I have yo-yo'd a few times since. Maintaining has always been a challenge. Ever time I say to myself... "This time will be different." It has gotten so bad at points, my family has to hide junk food from me. Pretty embarrassing, right? I know I have to make a change. I am currently at 210lbs from 270lbs, but it has been hell. It isn't as easy when I was younger. I understand this is the brutal reality of becoming older.

Again, I have yo-yo'd my entire adult life between 170-270. Being in my mid 40s, I am realizing I cannot continue to do yo-yo. I am also realizing it is becoming much harder to get to and maintaining a healthy BMI. I am looking to maintain a healthy quality of life. The yo-yo-ing has to stop. I am constantly hungry... no matter what. It feels like a lil dude on my shoulder with the loudest mega phone yelling ",EAT MORE! EAT MORE! YOU'RE NOT FINISHED!!!". I am at the end of my rope. I figured joining a community may help. I have arrived. Thank you in advance for the support.

Welcome, I'm glad you found a community like this to help! It sounds like you have definitely been through it. My weight has fluctuated quite a lot as well throughout my life and I finally decided to do something about it a few months ago. I think retatrutide has done wonders for me lately for my appetite suppression and general weight loss. Since then I've discovered other peptides that have helped me in different ways. I feel like a new person. I hope you discover a beneficial path as well soon!
